With Thanksgiving this week, I thought I’d pull out this cute Fall Floral Dress (which has recently sold out). I love the deep floral colors and the cream background. The choker band collar and elastic cuffs are in my opinion, what make this dress a statement piece. I love details, and this dress does not disappoint in that area.
I have been seeing quilted-velvet bags all over this season, and knew I wanted one, but did not want to spend the money on the expensive designer brands, so when I saw this one, I snatched it up. The color is perfect for fall and winter, and the size is perfect for fitting your wallet, phone, keys, and lipgloss. I usually tend to lean towards larger bags, but I’m loving this size, that way, it doesn’t fill up with old receipts, and gum wrappers.
Boots are a must for the fall and winter! I have been wearing my over the knee boots like crazy, but this year I wanted to purchase a pair of boots (in a camel color) that hit right below the knee. When looking for that perfect pair, I had a couple of requirements the boots needed to meet. They had to have a block heel, not be too small or too big around my leg, hit right below my knee, and be budget friendly. These boots, ended up being the winner! Best part, they are actually really comfortable. I love them paired with this dress! They also look great with jeans.

I’ve lived in Utah my entire life, and the cold weather here lasts way too long. Two years ago, the thought came to me– If I’m wearing a coat 5-6 months out of the year, why do I wear the same coat every day? Literally, I owned one coat. I wore it to the store, on date nights, to church, everywhere! It was red and black and I had worn it for so many years, that the color had started to fade. I guess the good news is, I definitely got my moneys worth.
I have since upped my coat game. I have coats for the snow, for nicer occasions, and more casual coats for everyday life. My newest addition is this tweed coat. The colors are perfect for fall and it’s on the lighter side for those cooler (but not freezing) days. Plus, the price tag will shock you! That’s the great thing about coats. You don’t have to spend a fortune (but can if you’d like) to add some fun coat options to your closet.

Let’s talk about another way to incorporate that popular fall color, Marigold, into your wardrobe. Marigold sweaters, cardigans, and scarves are the norm when it comes to that deep yellow color, and I, along with lots of you, have plenty of those items in my closet. So when I saw these pants, I knew I had to have them for fall. Not to mention, the belt and pockets were an added plus. Since the fall brings cooler temps, I tend to wear jeans 95% of the time during the fall and then right on through the winter months. This gets super old, mundane, and downright boring. So, a fun colorful pair of pants, is a good way to spice things up a bit.
For this look, I paired the belted trousers with this ivory colored lace blouse, from Mostly Mia, a pair of neutral colored heels, and simple jewelry, and I loved the end result. There are so many styling options when it comes to these pants. Pair them with a black turtleneck, a leopard print blouse, striped turtleneck or sweater, a thin crewneck sweater, or a white tee and denim jacket. Endless options.
This fall, step outside the box and add something different than you normally would to your wardrobe. I promise, when you’ve been wearing jeans for two weeks straight, you’ll be glad to have another option.
